On May 24 and 25, the Victimology Society of Serbia organized a training session in Belgrade entitled “From victim to winner: Using own’s capacities to get out of violence”. The training was organized as part of the project Forming a national SOS telephone line for women with the experience of gender-based violence (GBV) that will work according to feminist principles, funded by the OAK through the Trag Foundation.

The participants in the training were representatives of organizations from the Belgrade region Women against Violence Network: ASTRA, Atina, Autonomous Women’s Center, Roma Center for Women and Children Daje, …Iz kruga-Belgrade and Victimology Society of Serbia-VDS.

The aim of the training is for the trainees to learn how they can guide victims in the best way, in addition to the existing system of help and support, to use their own capacities for getting out of violence and personal growth.
