The Victimology Society of Serbia – VDS organized another online training called “Training to strengthen capacities for responding to sexual violence at faculties in Serbia”. Representatives of teaching and non-teaching staff, as well as students of the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade, participated in the training.

The training was organized as part of a project called “Advocacy for the rights of victims of gender-based violence in general and specifically of domestic, work-related, and violence in the educational and other institutions” financed by the Swedish organization Kvinna till Kvinna.

The project aims to act in the direction of changes in relevant policies, legislation and practice in order to improve the position of victims of gender-based violence in Serbia in general, and especially women victims of domestic violence, in the field of work and employment and in educational institutions.
